What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to other tools and services. Sites supports it, so any assistant that speaks MCP can work with your website.
Can a connected AI break my site or publish by accident?
No. It follows the same rules as Paige: changes go to staging first, every edit is versioned and can be undone, locked pages can’t be changed, and publishing asks for confirmation.
Do I still get Paige?
Yes. Paige is included in every plan. Connecting your own AI is an extra way to work, not a replacement.
Does a connected AI use my plan’s AI credits?
Your assistant runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT account. Some actions that ask Sites to generate content, like building a new page, use your plan’s credits.
